Some people find being solely amongst their own company lonely but I have found loneliness in it’s deepest form amongst a crowd of people. Loneliness presents in different forms for everyone. For me, loneliness doesn’t come from the physical absence of another being but from the sense of disconnection.
I have always found comfort in solitude. I would much rather spend time alone than be in a room full of people who lack interest in creating a connection. I crave connection, I crave depth.
Connections that are built on conversations that break you open and allow you to shift the ways in which you think. Connections where vulnerability and authenticity are met with love and compassion. Connections where people choose acceptance instead of separation when discomfort arises amongst difference of opinion. Connection where people plant the seeds of their unique being within you that bloom and blossom offering you expansion. Connections that honour new lessons, experiences, thought patterns and vibrations. The creation of the feelings of a tribe or community where there is safe space for you to heal and grow.
The light in me sees and gives thanks to the light in you. The love in me nourishes the love in you.
